KNOWN THE STORM WAS COMING

[/center]Born just outside of Belfast Ireland, this little limey was raised in the life of a hunter. Coming from generations and generations of hunters this twenty six year old is well versed in the life. Since he could walk his mother and father had his whole life planned out for him; the only child that was going to carry on the heavy McMurphy name. Over in Ireland the McMurphys led the way in hunting the supernatural, they were well known all across Europe too at one point. Unfortunately, living the life that they do their numbers slowly, but surely decreased until it seemed as if the McMurphys were nothing more but a legend. However, that was far from the truth, the clan was still out there, just regrouping.
Connor did not grow up like the other kids, from day one he never had a taste of normal; he doesnt know what its like and doesnt really care. While growing up in the life wasnt always peachy keen, he had his parents and his friends from the life and that was all he needed. Killing big bads with the family seemed ideal to him. However, the year he turned twenty two, the unthinkable happened, his parents met their untimely demise. It had been a collaboration with another group, a witch coven was getting out of hand, and these other hunters were a welcome help. Unfortunately, pairing alpha males with alpha males doesnt always work. Something in the plan went wrong and his father got killed, something snapped inside his mother. To this day Connor isnt sure what exactly happened, but both he and his mother were the only ones to walk out of there alive.
The next year went by in an agonizing fashion, his mother became more restless and reckless. Throwing herself and Connor into dangerous situations, whether it be with the supernatural or with the humans. More than a few times Connor had to drag his mother out of somewhere and go back to settle a debt, on way or another. She was burning herself out at an alarming rate and no matter what Connor did he couldnt stop her. It finally came to an end when she took her .38 special and blew her brains out in the back of a seedy motel. Well after that Connor freaked, he packed up all his meager belonging and left Ireland. He bummed around for a year or so, until he made his way to America. He never planned on getting back into the life but he stumbled across a little boy that had been abducted by a vampire and well, you know how that goes. The life always pulls you back in.
PERSONALITY
Connor is a pretty simple guy. He has his good traits and his bad traits, but all around he likes to think he is a pretty decent guy; though thats up for debate. He lives by his own unique set of morals and ethics, there really is no set standard. If he needs to be he can be charming and playful, or on the flip side a complete lying asshole. It all depends on what it is that he wants.
The most redeeming quality this boy possess is his extreme loyalty, almost to a fault. It developed when he was a young child and grew stronger with each passing year, especially in regards to his family. To him family doesnt end with blood either, his close group of friends know that. With his loyalty comes protectiveness; he would never do anything to betray a family member and if they need anything he will back them one hundred percent, no matter what.
He also is playful, and fairly easy going. Growing up in the life taught him that its too short to be a tight ass and angry all the time, its best to just live it up. In accordance with his easy going nature, this boy can also be a bit of a flirt, which gets him into a bit of trouble. He doesnt care if youre a dude or a chick, if he wants something and thinks flirting will get him it then he'll do it. There is not a whole lot this boy wont do to get what he wants. He calls it being determined, though thats mostly just so he doesnt feel like a scum bag after doing something particularly bad.
Unfortunately, for being so playful and flirtatious this boy doesnt really understand seriousness. He treats almost every serious encounter with factious humor, often prompting fights. When anyone calls him on it he simply shrugs it off, offers them a charming smile and changes the subject. While most of the time he can get out of serious situations unscathed, people warn him that one day he wont be so lucky.
Murph is also something of a liar, over the years he has darn well perfected his lying abilities. This is mostly due to having his hand in not so legal things. While it is not the most honorable thing, it has gotten him out of more than one pinch. However, he realizes that one day he is going to get himself into a situation that he wont be able to lie his way out of; no matter how charming he can be while lying.
This boy also has something of an addicting personality, not only does he smoke, both cigarettes and marijuana but he has a few tattoos as well. He is almost always craving something, whether it be a dart or another tattoo, there isnt something that this boy doesnt want. He is however, careful to let people know exactly how addicted to things he can become. This boy isnt stupid and realizes that he could be taken real advantage of given the right set of circumstances
