lucien is a couple hundred something year old vampire who isn't your typical cookie cutter blood sucker. he owns a 'fake' club in which he sells both blood and other black market items to supernatural beings. he tends to be a bit sketchy with his business deals but manages to stay completely in the middle of the alliance fence line.

being that lucien is a wanderer and can scarf up just about anything that anyone is looking to buy, he's a good guy to know. generally, he's not hostile or cocky which makes him an ideal candidate for a great friend.

obviously there are some who don't appreciate the 'business' that lucien is in. though he gets along with others for the most part, there are those who he gets into a bit of a competitive ruff with. likewise, anyone who treats a woman poorly is not someone noteworthy to him.

lucien was born in a time where chivalry was the way of life. he still honors the code and treats women with the utmost respect. he's not your typical one-night stand guy, but rather looks for something long term - if that's even possible. while he'd love to find love, he can stand the idea of losing another person he cares about.

Murph would definitely appreciate his business skills, after all being a hunter there is a bound to be a few occasions when he might need some black-market supernatural items. So I can see murph turning something of a blind eye to the blood selling as long as he was still getting useful items. So something of a friendship would be cultivated between the two of them.
