❧ Kazran Corsaire is an independent young woman with the world at her feet and a secret that could get her killed. She's got an angel for a father and because of that, she's got psychic abilities that have manifested themselves in ways that have proven to be altogether helpful in her chosen career path of medicine. She's able to heal open wounds, and see visions of people before who are in danger of dying. The death omens are sporadic and often give her a nasty headache, but they've been beneficial in the past. Kazran is not the sort to trust easily, and it's unusual for her to open up to anyone, but she's also the type that can't seem to leave a person who's in danger, no matter the risk to her own person.

❧ friends-friends-friends-friends ❧ Throughout Kaz's entire life, she's had friends that have come and gone--some she made in college, some later on in her life--but the only person who's ever been consistently in her life is her mother, who Kaz has always thought of as her best friend. That being said, the doc could use a couple of really close friends. She's not going to open right up to just anyone, but under her hard outer exterior, she's really a very sweet person, someone who is always more than willing to lend a hand when someone's in need. She's loyal, and she'll never be afraid to stand up for herself or anyone she sees being taken advantage of or abused. She's a good friend to have in times of strife.

what are we waiting for
❧ lovers-lovers-lovers-lovers ❧ A lover definitely wouldn't be impossible for Kaz, she's a woman who's got needs just as much as the next. A relationship might be a tough one, but if it was the right person, hey, who knows? If the woman were to ever consider a relationship, it would definitely have to be with someone who was patient and understanding. Not only is loving a doctor tough, try loving a doctor who's also a half-angel. Kaz is the kind of woman who really believes in true love, and she's willing to wait for it. She doesn't want to settle for anything less, and you can bet she won't.

why don't we break the rules already
❧ enemies-enemies-enemies-enemies ❧ Enemies aren't something Kazran has a lot of, mostly because she's been very good at keeping her secrets to herself. If anyone found out about her being a Nephilim, they would undoubtedly want to use her for her gifts, one way or another. Potential for enemies is big, prickly thing that perches on Kazran's shoulders, waiting for her to screw up and let even the smallest detail slip up and give her away. According to her father, Zadkiel, not even the other angels know about her--just him and her mother, so keeping tight-lipped is and has always been key for her.

RAPHAEL && KAZRAN ; ; i think raphael would be very interested in her…learning more about her, that is. nephilim of her kind are pretty rare so her abilities and such would pique his interest. i think he would feel the need to protect her in some sense, shield her from those who are trying to use her. he's quite awkward but i think he could make a decent friend.
LILITH && KAZRAN ; lilith would definitely be one of those who are after kazran for her abililties. she would want to capture/possess/convince her to join her and lucifer in hell….both to brag to the angels that she has “one of their own” and also to use her powers to help the dark side win the war. i can’t imagine her liking her all that much, mostly because she’s threatened by other women, but she’d be sly and try to get into her head.
LUCIEN && KAZRAN ; since lucien runs his little ‘blackmarket’ trading business, he gets odd requests quite often. maybe someone has paid him handsomely to capture a nephilim and use their unbridled powers. lucien agrees and ends up trying to get to know kazran, simply so he can weasel his way into her life and figure out her weaknesses…in order to capture her and bring her in. but in the process of all this, he ends up liking her and can’t go through with it, so he’s risking his own butt to save hers. he’s all about riddles and problem solving because he’s got quite the active mind…i imagine he’d fall for her simply because she’s so intelligent. if you don’t like this, just let me know.
CORA && KAZRAN ; they probably don’t have a ton in common, but i think cora can sympathize with kazran being ‘different’. she would be extremely cautious around her at first, and probably even stand offish, but i think they could get along well. maybe when cora first started having her beastly instincts, she went to see kazran in her office to see if anything neurologically was wrong with her…and that’s how they met??

❧ Kaz & Raphael
I definitely like the idea of Kaz and Raph being friendly, and even having kind of a mentoring relationship. I know Kaz has about a million and ten questions that she was always too afraid to ask her father, so maybe she finds the answers with Raph. I can definitely see the two of them learning a lot from each other--Kaz learning about angelic stuff and Raph learning about human tendencies.
❧ Kaz & Lilith
I honestly think Lilith would scare the crap out of her. She's already intimidated by the angels, I think a meeting with a demon as powerful as Lilith would just send her over the edge. But even with as much as Lilith would scare her, I definitely think Kaz would tell her to go stick it where the sun don't shine if she tried to get her to join the dark side, and then pray to whoever was listening she doesn't get slaughtered.
❧ Kaz & Lucien
I really, really love this idea, but the only thing we'd have to work out is how Lucien or whoever hires him to capture her finds out she's a Nephilim, just because she's never told anyone about it. Maybe we could do some kind of little back-story where her mother gets interrogated by a demon or someone else because Zadkiel visits her and someone notices their 'relationship' or something like that. I definitely think Kaz would be wary of Lucien at first, but once they got past the point of him wanting to sell her, I think they would get along really well. She'd definitely be interested in his vampiric nature from a medical point of view and she adores it when she can openly be her nerdy self around someone!
❧ Kaz & Cora
I can actually see these two being kinda bitchy best friends, ya know? I think once they got past the initial wariness of someone new, I think maybe they could have like a big girl talk about how they're both mutts that others would like nothing more than to use & abuse. I could definitely see them watching each others backs and going out to have a good time every now and again!

RAPHAEL && KAZRAN ; ; i can just imagine him being all weird and stupid about technology...and her trying to explain it xD. but yea, he'd definitely help her out with any questions. typically he doesn't divulge in such things, but seeing as she's part angel and he's a bit rogue, i think he'd make an exception.
LILITH && KAZRAN ; sounds good.
LUCIEN && KAZRAN ; yeah, that could work...i think lucien would enjoy her company once he's earned it. i don't think he'd mind being her little test subject either.
CORA && KAZRAN ; i like it!
